The reasons for utilizing a valuation service are as varied as the firms that request one. At Rosetta, we understand that one size does not fit all. The purpose of the valuation, time, budget, and analysis required, uniquely combines to guarantee each valuation is one-of-a-kind. Our service offerings means you get the report and information you need without incurring extraneous items. These include:

Opinion vs. Certified.

Some valuations require an analyst with a sanctioned certification. Others don’t. Valuations for internal use may not need the seal of certification. The report is just as valid, yet it is simpler and less detailed.

Questionnaire.

We spend the time with you to scrutinize the many areas that may affect value. Our proprietary interview format is designed to elicit and uncover those areas, especially those that may not appear significant.

Levels of Report Detail.

In addition to defining the type of valuation needed, Rosetta offers five basic levels of report, from the most basic to the most fully detailed. The right level for you can save you time and money. This is often determined by the final audience with whom you may wish to share the valuation. A quality report should provide the supporting backup to handle audience inquiries.

Draft and Final Reports.

We always provide you a draft report for your review. This offers you the opportunity to question, correct, and edit areas that may not reveal a true picture of the firm. Our goal is to make sure the report most accurately represents the actual situation.

Site Visits.

As an additional service, we offer site visits and information collection that can only be found on the premises. Our nationwide network of trained, local professionals can visit most any place without incurring the cost of timely and expensive travel from a central location. While not often needed, it is valuable when site conditions vary greatly from an industry’s standard.

Yearly Updates.

Do you have an ESOP (employee stock purchase plan), aggressive growth plan, business consultant, or otherwise compelling reason to track the performance of your firm? If so, our annual updates are available to you at a fraction of the cost of the initial valuation. Because we keep all of our projects readily available, Rosetta can quickly and efficiently update the latest financial information to give you a current value. Plus, because of our extensive performance graphs, company trends will become clearer.

Post-Report Consultation.

Few people read and review these reports on a regular basis, so we understand the need to answer all of your questions and provide explanations. Often, this brings into focus, items which affect value and the steps you can take to impact a firm’s worth. We spend all the time you need so that you fully comprehend the total report.

Collaboration with Other Professionals.

Not many people decide to value their company without a compelling reason. Often the suggestion comes at the behest of another trusted professional, like an attorney, CPA, business broker, or financial planner. They have specific reasons for the need and at Rosetta, we understand these reasons. With your permission, we are happy to engage them, to fully understand the purpose and ultimate realization of the effort.

Our goal is to make sure you get the right product for your specific needs.

Napoleon Bonaparte

Napoleon Bonaparte

Why is Napoleon Associated with the Rosetta Stone?

The Rosetta Stone was discovered in 1799 by a member of Napoleon’s Egyptian expeditionary force. The Stone is a stela fragment carved during the reign of Ptolemy V (205-180 b.c.) and is inscribed in two different languages with three different scripts—hieroglyphic, demotic, and Greek.

The importance of this artifact as a potential key for deciphering hieroglyphics was immediately recognized and then confirmed when a translation of the Greek established that the other two scripts contained the same message.

News of the discovery created a sensation, spawning renewed efforts at decipherment that culminated in the stunning success of Jean-François Champollion, who deciphered the Rosetta Stone and cracked the hieroglyphic code on Sept. 27, 1822
